1. New York Farmers Set to Benefit from Selling Hemp to Medical Marijuana Companies. CBD, hemp, and cannabinoid  products have been gaining considerable traction. Every month it seems like a new state is changing its laws to provide greater access to products. No doubt, 2020 will see New York tackle recreational cannabis. Much of this industry expansion is poised to benefit agricultural producers--including those in upstate New York.

2. Developing Buffalo's East Side. The development of Buffalo’s East Side has been talked about for years, but nothing has ever come of it. With the State’s 2019 investment commitment, that idea finally may become reality.
