Burgio shares thoughts on recent OCM lawsuit settlement, future litigation, with Buffalo News

Our Aleece Burgio lent her voice to a recent Buffalo News story detailing the urgency which hopeful cannabis retailers feel in the wake of last month's lawsuit settlement by the NYS Office of Cannabis Management. Like many, she feels future litigation is possible, if not likely.

“I think in general when you settle, it gives people the impression that if they sue, they get something from it,” said Aleece Burgio, an attorney at Colligan Law. “So, I’ll be surprised if we don’t see another piece of litigation arise in the next few months.”
