There is no question that 2020 was a challenging year for most founders and businesses. Managing COVID and the corresponding economic downturn has put pressures on cashflow, operations, supply chain, logistics, employee safety, and culture--just to name just a few. 

Fortunately there are plenty of efforts such as the free Small Business School organized by 43North to help businesses navigate common issues, answer questions, and hopefully ease at least some of the pain. If you haven't checked out the series--please make sure to do so here.

I had the pleasure this week of presenting on the ABCs of business law; highlighting some of the common missteps that small businesses make (and hopefully how you can avoid them!). Check out the Small Business School youtube link!

Another great resource to take advantage of is the time and knowledge of community leaders and mentors willing to offer a hand in Western New York. And fortunately for all of us, there are plenty of individuals (including myself) readily available through Open Office Time, all willing to give their time to help others. All you have to do is click on the person you wan to to meet (or zoom) with and schedule a time that works for you. It's that simple.

These aren't easy times, but they're a little easier if we help each other...and when the Buffalo Bills are in the AFC championship. Go Bills.
