This morning New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo announced by executive order (202.7) a revision of the March 18, 2020 Executive Order (202.6) requiring workforce reduction to 50%. Included within today's Executive Order (202.7) were a few other important items. Here is what you need to know:

1) there is a provision for virtual notaries (pursuant to very specific guidelines);

2) effective 3/21 at 8 p.m. all barbershops, hair salons, tattoo or piercing parlors & related personal care services will be closed to members of the public. This includes nail technicians, cosmetologists and estheticians, and the provision of electrolysis, laser hair removal; 

3) And last but not least, effective 3/21 at 8 p.m. and until further notice all businesses and not-for-profit entities in the state shall utilize, to the maximum extent possible, any telecommuting or work from home procedures that they can safely utilize. In any event, unless you're an essential service, each employer shall reduce the in-person workforce at any work locations by 75% no later than March 21 at 8 p.m.
